Nearest Airport: Gunnison, CO has the nearest airport to Lake City (1 1/4 hours southwest). Usually our hunters fly into DIA (Denver International Airport) and take a smaller plane to Gunnison. From here, car rental is available at the airport and hotels are open in Gunnison or in Lake City. Because it is our busiest time of the year, it is very difficult to divert a staff member for airport pickup. In having your own vehicle, should you kill early, you will be free to travel around the beautiful state of Colorado rather than spending the rest of your time at camp. |
